I am an Art Psychotherapist, EMDR therapist, Flash-Trained Therapist and a Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) Provider. I can provide therapy across any of these therapeutic modalities separately, or can weave them together integratively. I aim to provide an individually tailored journey, stepping with you along the way.

I work mainly with adults to support alleviating distress resulting from trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement and autoimmune dis-ease. Mind-body connectivity is key to my practice with specialist understanding around trauma and neurodiversity. I like to position myself at the cusp of research and evidence-based practices to shape what I can offer; guided by experience of what has clinched the deal in my own healing journey.

Including SSP into my skillset has broadened the scope for harnessing clients’ innate healing capacities. It is a non-invasive neuromodulation music listening programme which lends itself well to Art Psychotherapy and EMDR practices. Originally developed 20 years ago with neurodiversity in mind; it is said that SSP is at the cusp of clinical practice much like EMDR was 30 years ago. It has a growing evidence base for restoring balance, feelings of connection and decreasing symptoms of trauma (PTSD, C-PTSD), dissociation, functional neurological disorder (FND), fibromyalgia, parkinson’s, and chronic fatigue (CFS).

With SSP I can support families navigating neurodiversity and sensory processing challenges.

I have a small private practice for clients and clinical supervision. I work in-person and remotely. I also work part-time in the NHS under Adult Community Mental Health and in the charity sector with Military Veterans. I have sat 2 terms on the council for the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) from 2020-2025, and have been a visiting lecturer for the Masters in Art Therapy programme at the University of Hertfordshire 2021-2023.
